Thomas the tank engine was created over 70 years ago and has been enjoyed across multiple formats from generation to generation. Thomas and Friends is currently produced by HIT Entertainment which is owned by MATTEL. As a designer on Thomas brands, I have worked across many different categories and age groups. I specialized in collaborating with individual retailers to create unique cohesive custom product lines that could be sold exclusively for incremental sales.
Trackmaster (2014)
Fisher-Price relaunched Trackmaster in 2014 which consisted of redesigning the track, engines and accessories from the ground up. In addition to the below themed set designs, I drove the track redesign which resulted in a more cost effective design with a stronger connection which allowed for new and previously unattainable layouts.
